Exploration of technology applications for education, presentations, communications and management in Health and Human Service disciplines. Creation of digital media such as audio and/or video files, spreadsheet macros, e-portfolios and Web-based applications of various technologies will be required. The core objectives are to promote values/ethics, roles/responsibilities, interprofessional community, and teamwork. This course capitalizes on cultivating collaborative experience for students to provide patient centered healthcare. The students will engage in directed readings and an interprofessional teamwork project throught real cases provided by the Midlothian Free Health Clinic. The course entails the participation in a half-day workshop one Friday during the semester.
