In which online degree program do you teach?

  • What do you want students to take away from your classes?

    This course examines the principles of strategic planning and fiscal management in relation to Health and Human Services Organizations. Emphasis is placed on the specific role of the program director in leading and managing an organization in collaborative efforts and community planning. This course prepares the student to analyze the impact of fiscal management on resource allocation, personnel management, decision making, and future planning through the development of an individualized strategic plan.

    I started teaching to help inspire and instill a "passion for learning" to others.

  • Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students might not know.

    In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Cesene serves as the Life Skills Director at Safehouse Residential Services, where he provides case management, life skills training, and mentorship to at-risk youth in preparation for independent living. An ordained minister and chaplain for the Brookfield Township Police and Safety Services, Dr. Cesene has invested over 30 years providing community leadership and support to both families and professionals. As a licensed massotherapist, he was founder of the Integrative Health and Wellness Corporation – a local non-profit organization serving patients within the Tri-County Area with free clinical therapy and nutritional information. Affectionately known as "Dr. C.", he is recognized for his passion for teaching and personal dedication to student success. A lifelong Mahoning Valley resident, he and his wife Diane reside in Hubbard, Ohio. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, beekeeping, camping, cooking, gardening, inspirational music, and wine making.
