  • What do you want students to take away from your classes?

    The purpose of the course is to give students the skills necessary to understand all aspects of health and healthcare especially those related to Healthcare Reform and recent and previous legislation. It will examine the supply of and demand for health services, and the analysis of healthcare systems and current, previous, and potential future legislation relevant to healthcare reforms. It will also examine the evaluation of healthcare technologies, the impact of HMO’s and capitation, and the legislative effects on both private and public health programs. Topics include: Health Policy and Legislation, hospitals, federal and state programs, insurance industry, supply and demand for (physicians, nurses, drugs, technology), and healthcare delivery.

  • Why did you start teaching?

    I started teaching because I wanted to make an impact and inspire learners through sharing my knowledge of industry best practices and professional experiences.

  • What advice would you give to your online students?
